Amazon shoppers obsessed with ‘incredible’ cordless vacuum ‘better than Dyson’ that costs £764 less

Amazon shoppers are loving a new cordless vacuum that's currently discounted on the site. The vacuum used to cost £179.99, but is now down to £85.52.

The Greenote Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is discounted by 52 per cent. Weighing in at just 2.64 lbs, the vacuum comes with six removable batteries and a powerful motor.

Greenote's vacuum has two modes. Standard lasts for around 35 minutes and cleans a 1,700-sqft flat, while high-speed mode lasts for 18 minutes and cleans a 1,000-sqft flat.

The self-standing vacuum is equipped with bright headlights at its brush head for extra visibility. It has a telescopic rod, one floor brush, three attachments, and two washable HEPA filters.

Dyson's incredibly popular Gen5detect vacuum, which runs for 70 minutes and has headlights too, costs £849.99. That makes the Amazon vacuum £764.47 cheaper.

Greenote's vacuum has 4.3 stars from nearly 8,000 reviews. One person said: "We bought this to replace a five-year-old Dyson which has broken (again!). The Greenote so far has far superior suction power compared to the Dyson and we are really pleased with it. It's very lightweight but doesn't feel cheap. Also, I had to email Customer Services regarding one the parts and they were extremely helpful and got back to me really quickly. Would recommend 100 per cent."

Another person said "I have been wanting to replace my cordless Dyson for some time now as it was not performing well but couldn't find the right replacement. I'm so glad I found the GREENOTE. it's lighter; easier to charge; battery lasts longer; easier to empty; and a good deal cheaper than the Dyson! If you want a better option, I recommend this."

However, one less satisfied customer added "It's not a great product. Suction isn't great especially on wooden floors. It has no soft brush where the head is so it bangs on the wooden flooring and marks the flooring and doesn't suck up the dirty. For Carpet you have to go over 3 times because the suction isn't great either. And charging takes at least three hours and also the battery goes quick. Used it once put it back in the box. Was a nightmare returning it cost me over £70. Not all courier service accept it back due to the battery."
